April Paint Out -- April 28, Saturday, 2-5 pm

The Annual Meeting was a Great Success!

The Society had an enthusiastic turnout with over forty attendees sharing in an opportunity to observe and learn while artist Rick Casali sculpted and demonstrated the essential structural elements of the human head. First the basic foundational planes were constructed in clay using an armature after which the information proceeded to involve more complex structural concepts while working toward and developing the features. Rick's demonstration presented structural elements in the round, elements that members could incorporate into their portrait paintings.

Members enjoyed sampling and working with the colors while he provided demonstration and answered questions about his company and the process of making paints.
